This is a repeat of our B Litter which we are very excited to announce. Rory and Jaxon are capable of producing sables and black and tans (no bi colors, no solid blacks and no long coats.) This litter is expected to be incredibly versatile, medium to high drives capable of doing protection sports/personal protection, or any other venue of your choosing without sacrificing the desire for a sound family companion.
Jaxon is a medium/large male at 85lbs, very athletic in structure, being Kelli's first working dog he has been very forgiving on her mistakes and is a testimony to his bidability. He has been cross trained in PSA and Mondioring among other venues but his favorite has to be dock diving as he loves the water. Jaxon is not a 'hard' dog but he is not a prey monkey and can switch between prey and defense drives easily, strong nerves and doesn't break down under high pressure. Out in public he is truly neutral, no dog reactivity, at home he's a pacifist but no pushover, he is a stable dog who I can trust in any situation.
Rory on the other hand is Queen and she knows it and all of the dogs respect her space. A gorgeous dark sable with rich red undertones and a beautiful expression. At 65lbs she is very agile and springy, she has very nice conformation. Very high motivation for the ball and good food drive, transitioning into happy, energetic obedience. Naturally very amiable but will light up when provoked. In protection she has strong full grips and digs into the decoy. One of her favorite activities to do is agility.
Both Rory and Jaxon are very social while still maintaining the typical shepherd aloofness. They are clear headed dogs with an excellent offswitch and do not need to be worked constantly to settle in the house. This breeding has produced dogs that have gone on to family homes, farm dogs who are around livestock without issue and while we do not have cats now both have lived with them before with no issues. No dog aggression, absolutely zero handler aggression, excellent with children. This would be an excellent litter for the experienced or beginner handlers.
Together they have a strong West German working pedigree that has 6 WUSV competitors in the first 3 generations. There are no holes and No close linebreeding up front.
Our goal with this litter is to place them in working homes that will also be family companions.
